| AERATOR A small, removable extension at the tip of a sink faucet, with air ports and a screen, which mixes water with air to reduce splashing and conserve water. |

| AGGREGATE Refers to the gravel or stone which is used in concrete mix. |

| AIR DUCT A pipe or tube (round, square or rectangular) for conducting air in a ventilation system. |

| ANCHORS Devices (usually metal) used in building construction to secure one material to another, such as nails, screws, bolts, etc. |

| ASPHALT SHINGLES Composition roof shingles made from asphalt-impregnated felt (often with fiberglass base) and covered with mineral granules. |
